CHALLENGE
Consistently ranked as one of the globe’s top public universities, the University of British Columbia's (UBC) Conferences and Accommodations website posed critical problems. An SEO firm optimized it for search engines with poor results. Additionally, the website required web copy to complement the new web design, and improve leads and bookings.

APPROACH
Webcopy+ reviewed existing search terms and tactics, and devised a more effective strategy to attract additional prospects from around the globe. While our website copywriters were aggressive with SEO, we also ensured the web copy conveyed descriptive, useful and clear messaging throughout the entire website to engage prospects and persuade them to book with UBC.

RESULTS
Within weeks, UBC's search engine rankings and presence saw a steady increase on top search engines, including Google, Yahoo and Bing. Engagement levels and conversion rates also improved. As a result, the client reported increased leads and bookings.
